For now we will do a separate VM for this WorkStation. I'll name it "WS01", but we will see how to create it in Hyper-V later. This VM must be in the same network segment as DC01. In this guide I assume you already know how to install Windows, that's why I don't show it.

First we need to head out to "Control Panel > System and Security > System". Over there, click the "Advanced System Settings" button and go to the "Computer Name" tab. Change the hostname to "WS01" and the domain name to "boxcreator.htb", but don't hit OK yet.

Now go to "Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing center". Left click on your adapter (it should be a blue button, mine says Ethernet0).

Note that 10.10.11.212 is the Domain Controller's IP address. Once that's done, go back to the window where you specified the domain and hit OK. You'll be asked for Domain Admin credentials (Administrator:ZOH2hREhlDqwkdBK). Say OK to everything and then restart the computer. It should be now joined to the domain.

Any domain user can now log in to this computer.
