Users, Computers, Groups and OU Structures

In this section we will learn how to create and manage different types of objects like users, groups, computers, service accounts, and Organizational Units (OUs). Users are individual accounts for people who need access to the network. Groups help organize users with similar roles, making it easier to manage permissions. Computers are added to AD so they can be controlled and secured. Service accounts are special user accounts used by applications or services to run properly. OUs are like folders that help you organize all these objects by department, location, or function. They also let you apply specific settings and permissions to groups of objects more easily. This organization makes managing a large network simpler and more secure.
