Join computers to the domain
"A domain-joined computer in Active Directory is useful because it allows centralized management, security, and access control. When a computer is joined to the domain, users can log in with their AD credentials, and administrators can apply policies, install software, and manage settings remotely. It also improves security by enforcing password rules and restricting access to resources. Being part of the domain ensures the computer follows organization-wide rules and makes IT tasks like updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting much more efficient."
Even though we can directly create Computer accounts in the "Computers" container, I'll show how you can join a Windows and a Linux server into your domain.
